Virtunet Systems develops and markets two software solutions in the storage space. VirtuCache is software that improves the performance of any SAN based storage appliance and storage network, and VirtuStor is software that clusters commodity servers together and presents it as an iSCSI storage target.
Quota carrying sales person based in the San Francisco-Bay Area, with responsibility to achieve quarterly sales targets by selling into VMware accounts in the Mid-West and East Coast.
Requires frequent travel.
Requirements for the Ideal Candidate
1. Ideally must have sales engineering experience of 2-4 years and 1-2 years of quota carrying sales experience in Enterprise Storage. Please do not apply if you have no knowledge of Enterprise Storage and Virtualization fields. Junior Sales Engineers in Enterprise Storage wanting to move to a quota carrying role are welcome to apply.
2. Since this is a new customer acquisition role, you should be willing to cold call and also be able to pitch to prospects cold at our trade show booths.
On target earnings considerably higher than at similar roles in High Tech.
Virtunet Systems is a 100% employee owned company, with zero debt, zero outside funding, and profitable. As a result, we have a larger pool of stock reserved for employees than VC backed companies.
