Creating a user in ESXi with root privileges

We need root privileges in ESXi to install/uninstall VirtuCache and collect vmkernel, vnxd and other logs.

In ESXi version 6.5 and higher, it is really easy to do this.

Connect to ESXi host using the browser.

Click on “Manage” button on the left, and then click on “Security and Users” button on the right. Now add a new user in ESXi and assign it the Administrator role.
