Using just ESXi CLI, how do you find out the storage protocol used by VMware vSphere to connect to Storage?

vCenter makes it very easy to find out the protocol ( iSCSI, Fiber Channel, FCoE, shared SAS etc ) that ESXi host uses to connect to shared storage. However if in the rare case that we don’t have vcenter or vclient access and we are forced to find out the storage protocol using just ESXi CLI, then you will need to run the below commands on the host, and send us the output for us to confirm the storage protocol.

esxcli storage core device list
esxcli storage core adapter list
